Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzing Powder Review

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Albeit I call myself a beautaholic, I find that I don't actually experiment very often. Don’t smite me down for not doing so, I just find products I like and stick to them. I guess you could say I'm a creature of habit. But after wanting to branch out more on the stuff I'm used to, I decided to do some research over a few months, look at what's praised and what not and mix things up a bit.

The first thing to get changed in my every day beauty routine was the bronzer. I had been using Rimmel's Bronzer since I was a teen and even though it's a good one, using it for 10 years clearly shows that it needed to be swapped. I did some reading online and after seeing Zoe's review, I decided to take the plunge and purchase Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzing Powder.

OK, I'll admit it now, the main reason I went for this one was all down to it smelling like chocolate. Fact. Call me easily pleased but I love chocolate and I like gimick type items so naturally, it had to be bought. And do you know what? It smells divine!

The colour itself is a soft brown, that goes surprisingly well with my skin tone. I imagine that if I used too much, it would look too dark or turn me in to some sort of Oompa Loompa but with the right amount applied, it gives a natural look. With winter quickly approaching, I have only used it to contour so far but it does the perfect job at shaping my face. It also seems to last all day which is another bonus!

The result of a few applications on one area of skin to show the shade

Thumbs up to Bourjois for another lovely product that will now be a staple in my daily routine.
