One Lovely Blog Award
Thursday, November 06, 2014
Do you know what I enjoy most about blogging, besides getting to ramble to my heart's content over various topics? The wonderful community that it creates.
I love reading lots of different posts from bloggers all over the world and I value their thoughts and opinions. I appreciate the time they took to write their post and the effort put in to it. I also adore that I get this appreciation back, from new and returning readers. So for that, I would like to say a quick thank you to all my lovely readers, you guys are the best!

After saying the above, I was incredibly touched when Yasmin from 'Be You' and Hannah from 'Hannah's Chapter' nominated my little blog for the 'One Lovely Blog Award'. I had a lot of fun writing the 'Liebster Award' post so was really looking forward to doing this one too!
The rules of this award are as follows:
1. Thank the person who has nominated you and link back to their post (tick!)
2. Share 7 things about yourself (see below, tick!)
3. Nominate up to 15 bloggers that you admire (again, see below, tick!)
4. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know they've been nominated
So, to the 7 things about me. I thought long and hard over these and I hit a blank! I couldn't think of what to put! But I have finally come up with a list that you'll hopefully find interesting.
1. I once appeared on the Sussex news, when I sat in the front row of the roller coaster at Hayling Island reading a newspaper - to make it look like I wasn't scared seeing as I was a member of the RCCGB and an enthusiast - whilst the news correspondent did her piece. We were then filmed going round on the coaster and I had to carry on reading the newspaper, all the way round. I was also there on Corkscrew's last day at Alton Towers. We literally went there, did that and got the t-shirt (specially designed just for the day)
2. I grew up on a free range chicken farm where we had a 15 acre field with over 800 free-range chickens on. We sold their eggs, as well as, plants and hanging baskets. We now have 4 chickens in the back garden
3. I try to go wildlife watching in my spare time and even go twitching sometimes (going across the country to see a very rare bird - think of the film 'The Big Year' but on a much smaller scale!)
4. My favourite colour is red
5. I've had Russell Howard wink at me when I was sat in the front row watching the filming of his 'Good News' show and David Attenborrough (one of my idols) smile and wave at me in the Natural History Museum in London
6. I go through phases where I will read and read until I get obsessed with a TV show, which I will then watch every spare second until it finishes and I'm left with an empty gap. I will then settle on reading again and so on and so forth. This cycle is happening constantly with me
7. Despite what Donkey says to Shrek on the matter, I was massively underwhelmed by parfait
Corky on her last day

One of my all time favourite photos, an Avocet on Two Tree Isalnd, Essex

I'm on the front row, in the pink top, 2nd from the end. Russell Howard went off the stage in front of us and winked as he went *swoons*
7. Despite what Donkey says to Shrek on the matter, I was massively underwhelmed by parfait
