NYX's Dream Catcher Eyeshadow Palette instantly came to mind when thinking of this post. I've been using the palette pretty much every day and have created some really beautiful looks. You can see more of my thoughts on this lovely palette here but to summarise: I love it!
Another NYX product that I have been loving this month is the Butter Lipstick in 'Hunk'. I'm branching out with lipstick shades a lot lately and this is another "out there" choice for me. It's a gorgeous berry colour that is perfect for the fall. I will be doing a full review soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.
TRESemmé is a brand I've always liked and used but this past month, it's become a real life saver with two products: their Heat Defence Styling Spray and Extra Hold Hair Spray. I've had a few special occasions and nights out which has meant lots of dolling myself up and extra strain being put on my hair with more blow drying, straightening and curling.
The Heat Defence Spray goes on just before blow drying and helps to protect my hair from the heat and does the job wonderfully. It also makes my locks feel a lot softer and healthier which is an added bonus.
The Extra Hold Hair Spray has been amazing when it comes to styling. I have quite fine hair and whenever I used to curl it, it'd be back to straight within approximately 5 minutes - not cool. However, when I use this hairspray, the style stays in place for hours - it's brilliant! It also doesn't make my locks look and feel hard or rigid, they just look natural and lightweight. Best hair spray around in my opinion!
In my spare time, I have been finally watching How I Met Your Mother in order - any UK readers will know that the episodes are shown constantly on E4 but are hardly ever chronological which can be rather annoying. Then swoops in my hero, Netflix, to save the day! The show is great for many reasons: it's funny, easy to watch, the story lines are good (albeit some are a little wacky) and there are some really emotional moments throughout too which makes it feel more...normal. It's definitely one to watch if you haven't already!
That's it for this month! What have been your September Favourites?
